IN between the waking and dream state is a corridor with a bottom that can drop out

You might remember falling and feeling similar to how I did in real life but it’s more painful

Painful when you’re falling asleep and you really fall. 

I fell into a hole in the ground much like Murakami’s symbolic well

It was actually A relief in some ways even though I bruised

I didn’t know how far or for how long I would fall, it was only about four feet 

First I came down a different WAY than I came up

Then I went up the way I originally came up

And I’ll have to go down the way I came up
